The situation

Most people who come to Bicycle Health have been through treatment before. Many were discharged for missing an appointment or relapsing: behavior that’s a symptom of the disease itself.

Bicycle Health was built to be the opposite. Non-punitive care, the same provider every time, and a community of people on the same road. But its brand didn’t say any of that. It was clean, clinically credible, and careful. It explained the service. It didn’t earn anyone’s trust.

And the name, a bicycle, had never been used for anything.

What we did

Every brand in this space talks about the moment of crisis. Almost nobody talks about what comes after, which is most of recovery. So we built the platform around the full arc: “Built for the whole ride. From your first call to the day you don’t need us anymore.”

The bicycle became the metaphor. Learning, falling, getting back on. To keep it from reading like a motivational poster, we grounded it in specifics: your job, your kids, your schedule. The ride is your actual life.

The visual identity carries the same idea. The new “B” mark is a waypoint, one of the moments that mark progress on a longer journey. Hand-drawn journey lines move across photography to show that every path through recovery is different. Light shows up again and again as hope and what comes next. A new color palette, typography, photography style, iconography, and graphic system hold it together.

Then we brought it to life everywhere people meet the brand: presentations, collateral, event materials, patches, apparel, and a custom online store.

What’s next

We’re continuing with Bicycle Health on marketing and experience design, putting the platform to work across the patient experience.
